Overview

Rissers Beach Provincial Park is found 24 km (15 mi) south of Bridgewater on the Atlantic Coast in Green Bay, at the mouth of the Petite Riviere. This beautiful park has a 1.5-km (1-mi) sheltered sandy beach (supervised July/August), a boardwalk along an inland marsh and two campgrounds.

   

Nearby: 

Wile Carding Mill, DesBrisay Museum (Bridgewater), and Fort Point Museum (LaHave).

 

Campground  accommodations include:

  • North Rissers (Loop A) – 18 open (water and electrical services), 17 partially wooded and 6 walk-in overnight sites (unserviced).
  • Little Rissers (Loop C) – 25 wooded overnight sites (unserviced).

Park amenities include: 

Picnic area, dishwashing station, playground, trails, washrooms, change house with showers, disposal station, fire grills, wood, and ice. Wi-Fi is available at the park office (password required). Leashed pets permitted.
