Maritime Painted Saltbox
Overview
Celebrating our 26th Season in 2024. The Maritime Painted Saltbox is a unique studio/gallery located in Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia, featuring contemporary fine, fun, folk art and art furniture and reproduction prints on metal, canvas and archival paper by artists Tom Alway and Peter Blais. The work is housed in four rooms on two floors in a barn setting, in an outdoor building called the Coop and in our new outdoor gallery, a covered 10′ x 20′ timber framed pergola.
The Maritime Painted Saltbox has been a South Shore Nova Scotia destination since 1998 and is considered a « hidden gem » in Lunenburg County.
