Elm Tree Cottage is a contemporary cottage on a quiet residential street. With restaurants, galleries and museums all within an easy walking distance and beaches, lighthouses and golf courses a short drive away Elm Tree Cottage is perfect for the business traveler or vacationing couple.
Approximately half way between Bridgewater and Yarmouth, Shelburne is ideally situated for exploring the many beautiful beaches, historic towns and charming fishing villages that dot Nova Scotia’s South Shore. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Lunenburg, the Black Loyalist Heritage Center in Birchtown and the Acadian Village in Pubnico are all within easy day tripping distance. Sandy Point Lighthouse Beach, Roseway Beach, Carleton Village Beach and the Kejimkijik Seaside Adjunct are all nearby.
Closer to home, it is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre of Shelburne where you will find a beautiful harbour, coffee shops, galleries, museums, theatre and restaurants. For the craft beer aficionado, the Boxing Rock Taproom is just a 5 minute walk.
Elm Tree Cottage is a bright contemporary space that marries modern furnishings with vintage touches. Clean lines, muted paint colours, and a touch of retro chic all add to the ambiance. With all the conveniences of home, the cottage has a fully equipped ergonomically designed kitchen complete with fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Comfortably furnished and with plenty of windows, the living room and dining area are sunny and cheerful. Sliding patio doors open out onto a large deck that provides a pleasant private outdoor living space for barbequing, relaxing and entertaining. Beyond the deck is a wooded area with a charming babbling brook.
The cottage sleeps 2 people in one bedroom with a queen size bed and plenty of storage. There is a modern 3 piece bathroom (shower) in the cottage along with laundry facilities.
All bed linens and towels are provided. Elm Tree Cottage has a flat screen smart TV with Netflix and WiFi internet access. The cottage is not pet friendly.
Minimum stay:
5 to 7 days during the summer months, 1 to 3 days during the shoulder season depending on availability.

Payment options:
Deposit required at time of booking. Email Transfer is the preferred method of payment. Visa, MasterCard, or personal cheque in Canadian Dollars also accepted.
Cancellation policy:
50% refund for cancellations made at least 60 days before check-in. 25% refund for cancellation made between 30 and 60 days prior to check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in.
