The McDade Heritage Centre is owned and operated by the Hantsport & Area Historical Society and had its official opening in November 2017.
The surviving records and artifacts of the shipyards and other businesses that gave Hantsport the nickname “the town of industries” are housed at the Dorie & Garnet McDade Heritage Centre.
