Step back in time to enjoy Lunenburg’s cherished Ashlea House, an historic Victorian mansion lovingly restored to its original grandeur. Ashlea House is perfectly situated, a short five-minute stroll along the historic harbour into the core of Old Town Lunenburg.

Make us your base for visiting the Fisheries Museum, historic Bluenose II, art galleries and acclaimed restaurants as well as nearby Blue Rocks, Hirtle’s Beach and Gaff Point.

A registered Heritage property (c. 1886), Ashlea House has lots of common areas, including grand parlours, a Victorian gazebo overlooking the gardens, an authentic Widow’s Walk with a panoramic harbour view and a third-floor outside back deck. We invite you to enjoy Ashlea House as family.

Our accommodations include four air-conditioned rooms (queen-sized beds), ensuite 4-piece baths in each room; family suite with two connecting bedrooms; television in all rooms. Full gourmet breakfast, served communally at 8:30 a.m. Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking.
