Beat Beethoven

It’s time to race the music!
Lace up your sneakers and pick up the tempo this September 19, 2025, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Beat Beethoven Presented by Benjamin Bridge is a unique 7.5KM race against Beethoven’s classics, performed live by Symphony Nova Scotia.

While music will be amplified on course, the objective of this event is to make it to the finish within 50 minutes, before the orchestra completes the movement, to experience it for yourself—live. If you need some extra time, don’t sweat it! There will be intermission before finishers celebrate with a concert by Symphony Nova Scotia, a Benjamin Bridge sparkling beverage, and an array of delicious appetizers!
