Overview

Explore the breathtaking views of South Shore Nova Scotia on a private sail tour of beautiful Mahone Bay. Book this exclusive charter for you and your group of up to 6 onboard Oak Haven, a 35-foot full-keeled, cutter-rigged sail yacht. Navigate local history and legendary mysteries with Captain and crew. See abundant wildlife, breathe in the natural environment and if you’re interested, learn about sailing too! Daily private half-day or full-day sail tours, sunset tours, customized celebration sails or Sail and Stay packages with overnight accommodation.

Sit back, relax and feel the gentle motion as the wind fills the sails and with the engine doused, hear only the splash of water on the hull as we move through the waves.

On full-day tours, anchor at an island mid day (Big Tancook or a secluded MICA Island or sail by Oak Island) and enjoy a delicious, locally-sourced, picnic lunch included in your package pricing. Explore the island or enjoy a refreshing swim followed by an afternoon sailing on the open waters of the Bay. If you wish, help raise, winch in and trim the sails as we tack and gybe along our course.

Relaxed and refreshed, sail back to the town of Mahone Bay to enjoy one of the many restaurants and B&B’s within walking distance of the Marina.

Daily private half-day or full-day sail tours during the season, June 29 to September 26, 2024. Sunset tours, customized celebration sails and Sail and Stay packages with overnight accommodation also available. Tours are in English, but guides also speak French, Dutch, and some German.
