seinen knapp 400.000 Einwohnern verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig klein \u2013 doch es gibt so viel zu entdecken. Besonders beliebt ist der historische Hafen der Stadt, den man bequem entlang der Promenade erkunden kann. Beginnen Sie ihre Tour im \u201eCanadian Museum of Immigration\u201c, dem Kanadischen Immigrationsmuseum am Pier 21, welches das Tor zu Kanada f\u00fcr eine Millionen Einwanderer war. Schlendern Sie durch vielseitige Gesch\u00e4fte und Galerien und entdecken Sie einige der besten Restaurants der Stadt.<\/p>\n<p>Besuchen Sie den Halifax Seaport Farmers&#8216; Market, den \u00e4ltesten kontinuierlich bestehenden Bauernmarkt in Nordamerika und erfahren Sie mehr \u00fcber die Schifffahrtsgeschichte der Provinz im \u201eMaritime Museum of the Atlantic\u201c, in dem sich auch eine Sonderausstellung zum Ungl\u00fcck der Titanic befindet.<\/p>\n<p>Den Abend l\u00e4sst man am besten in einer der zahlreichen Bars ausklingen. Denn Halifax ist auch Studentenstadt und somit ist hier abends einiges geboten. Angeblich hat die Stadt sogar die h\u00f6chste Dichte an Pubs pro Einwohner in ganz Nordamerika.
