Overview
Kejimkujik Seaside is a wild and isolated 22 km² stretch of coastline west of Liverpool in the South Shore region with two scenic trails – Harbour Rocks Trail (5.2 km return) and Port Joli Head Trail (8 km return). Both trails travel through coastal forest and shrubby barrens bringing hikers to glacier-carved headlands, secluded rocky coves and broadsweeps of white sand. Seals and shorebirds are frequently observed just off shore.
Other features include interpretation panels, viewing scopes and a picnic shelter located close to the trail head. Open year-round as conditions allow.
Please note: St. Catherine’s River Beach is closed to all visitors from April until August to respect the endangered piping plovers‘ nesting area.
